My heart is strong, I will not fail, I won't be wronged, I will prevail.
Alexandra Lanc
For axioms in philosophy are not axioms until they are proved upon our pulses.
John Keats
The real world reveals itself like surprise gifts on our doorstep, special moments that seem above and beyond the reality of others. These times are full, beautiful and meaningful beyond words, even when wrapped in pain.
Christopher Hawke
What is life but an ongoing war?
Bangambiki Habyarimana
Real life often ends badly, like our marriage did, Pat. And literature tries to document this reality, while showing us it is still possible for people to endure nobly.
Matthew Quick
Story telling or teachable moments, provides us with a vast reference base of real life antidotes for possible future problems. They not only entertain and give us a resource of proven solutions, but they also help shape and mold our character. Therefore, when we don’t take our time to communicate with our kids, then we rob them of critical life lessons that we and our forefathers learn the hard way - lessons that they would needlessly have to learn through trial and error themselves.
Drexel Deal
you can tell a true war story if it embarrasses you. If you don't care for obscenity, you don't care for the truth; if you don't care for the truth, watch how you vote. Send guys to war, they come home talking dirty.
Tim O'Brien
The artistic life is a long and lovely suicide precisely because it involves the negation of self; as Highsmith imagined herself as her characters, so Ripley takes on the personae of others and in doing so metamorphoses himself into a 'living' work of art. A return to the 'real life' after a period of creativity resulted in a fall in spirits, an agony Highsmith felt acutely. She voiced this pain in the novel via Bernard's quotation of an excerpt from Derwatt's notebook: 'There is no depression for the artist except that caused by a return to the self'.
Andrew Wilson
Life's a book filled on pages Just awaiting to be written. Some don't open it for ages,Maybe afraid of being bitten.
Ana Claudia Antunes
Why do people complain when your crabby but the moment there crabby you tell them to stop moaning they moan so fuckin unreal
emma mckenzie
You want something and you wait and wait and feel like it's taking forever to come. Then it happens and it's over and all you want to do is curl back up in that moment before things changed.
Lauren Oliver
Reality wins, and I'd rather see the truth than stay in love with a fantasy.
Jewel
See yourself while crying this is only things that no man wants.
Yaganesh Derasari
As often happens between people who have chosen different ways, each of them, while rationally justifying the other's activity, despised it in his heart. To each of them it seemed that the life he led was the only real life, and the one his friend led was a mere illusion.
Leo Tolstoy
Some cats are angry at being called cats. To achieve peace with them, never call them by their real name
Bangambiki Habyarimana
Be the girl you want your daughter to be. Be the girl you want your son to date. Be classy, be smart, be real, but most importantly be nice.
Germany Kent
Critical thinking does seem a superior sort of thinking because it seems as though the critic is actually going beyond the scope of what is being criticized in order to criticize it. That is only rarely a true assumption because, most often, the critic will seize on some little aspect that he or she understands and tackle only that.
Edward de Bono
Wise men are wise yet their actions always seem otherwise to others who always think of the otherwise
Ernest Agyemang Yeboah
It is time I came back to my real lifeAfter this voyage to an island with no name,Where I lay down at sunrise drunk with light.
May Sarton
We deal with so many nightmares on a regular basis. When I’m watching a horror movie, there’s a pattern, a sense of control in them. I’m just an observer, not having to deal with any of the repercussions. It’s a nice dream to think monsters play by the rules, that they’ve got a pattern you can unlock and follow. Real life’s messy, and the chaos leaves you devastated in the wake.
Katherine McIntyre
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.
Philip K Dick
You brought nothing into this world; you will take nothing from it, but please, leave us with something
Bangambiki Habyarimana
Even I don’t know myself... In fact, I don’t know if I really have a self at all, as I’m constantly playing different roles and pretending – not so much on stage as in real life...
Simona Panova
Real life, life finally uncovered and clarified, the only life in consequence lived to the full, is literature. Life in this sense dwells within all ordinary people as much as the artist. But they do not see it because they are not trying to shed light on it.
Marcel Proust
When writing fiction, you learn to only put things and characters in, that are going to progress your story. There is something to be learned about that approach in real life
Carl Henegan
No wonder many people dare not look closely at life: It's a horrible sight.
Bangambiki Habyarimana
Life has a meaning but do not set out to find out. Just live it out.
Bangambiki Habyarimana
Japhy was considered an eccentric around the campus, which is the usual thing for campuses and college people to think whenever a real man appears on the scene - colleges being nothing but grooming schools for the middleclass non-identity which usually finds its perfect expression on the outskirts of the campus in rows of well-to-do houses with lawns and television sets in each living room with everybody looking at the same thing at the same time while the Japhies of the world go prowling in the wilderness to hear the voice crying in the wilderness, to find the ecstasy of the stars, to find the dark mysterious secret of the origin of faceless wonderless crapulous civilization.
Jack Kerouac
Wake up to realities! Real life is all about real things!
Ernest Agyemang Yeboah
Nostalgia has a way of blocking the reality of the past.
Shannon L. Alder
It’s not their (parents’) job to prevent their children from making mistakes, because mistakes are a normal part of our lives. It’s like preventing those children from having a real experience. A real life.
Lukasz Laniecki
In short, the man displayed a constant and insurmountable impulse to wrap himself in a covering, to make himself, so to speak, a case which would isolate him and protect him from external influences. Reality irritated him, frightened him, kept him in continual agitation, and, perhaps to justify his timidity, his aversion for the actual, he always praised the past and what had never existed; and even the classical languages which he taught were in reality for him goloshes and umbrellas in which he sheltered himself from real life.
Anton Chekhov
It is not about giving her the world, it is all about making her realize that she is the only one in it.
Nehali Lalwani
We know how to dream beautifully! And in our dreams we are always extraordinarily active! We cross oceans, found colonies, introduce ideal governments, and die as Kings or at least Presidents of Republics! In actual life, however, we groan, we are miserable, and we greatly resent being obliged to bother about going to the Bank, in order to receive the interest of the capital acquired for us by our more energetic ancestors.
Aimée Dostoyevsky
If you have an imagination, welcome to the gates of Reality.
Sofia Reyes
Impression, not oppression determines the real life of a real person.
Israelmore Ayivor
We all have the best laid plans for our children, and they go and ruin it all by growing up any way they want to. What the hell was it all for, then? (Real Life and Liars)
Kristina Riggle
Cynicism is what passes for insight when courage is lacking.
Anita Roddick

If your love for another person doesn’t include loving yourself then your love is incomplete.
Shannon L. Alder
This life is not perfect, live it to the full, it's all we have
Bangambiki Habyarimana
It was Valentine's Day and I had spent the day in bed with my life partner, Ketel One. The two of us watched a romance movie marathon on TBS Superstation that made me wonder how people who write romantic comedies can sleep at night. At some point during almost every romantic comedy, the female lead suddenly trips and falls, stumbling helplessly over something ridiculous like a leaf, and then some Matthew McConaughey type either whips around the corner just in the nick of time to save her or is clumsily pulled down along with her. That event predictably leads to the magical moment of their first kiss. Please. I fall all-the-time. You know who comes and gets me? The bouncer. Then, within the two hour time frame of the movie, the couple meet, fall in love, fall out of love, break up, and then just before the end of the movie, they happen to bump into each other by "coincidence" somewhere absolutely absurd, like by the river. This never happens in real life. The last time I bumped into an ex-boyfriend was at three o'clock in the morning at Rite Aid. I was ringing up Gas-X and corn removers.
Chelsea Handler
You can't get mad at a real ending. Some of them are ugly. It's the fake happily ever afters that should piss you off.
Colleen Hoover
When you imitate others in real life, you deny the world benefits of your uniqueness. So be who you were born to be!.
Gugu Mona
After I binged last night -or was it tonight - I was convinced yet again that there were people coming to get me. It was more than just shadows and voices, more than just fantasies....it was real, and I was scared to my core.My bones were shaking...m heart was pounding...I thought I was going to explode. I'm glad I have you to talk to, to write this down. I tried to keep it all together, but then I gave in to the manes and became one with my insanity.
Nikki Sixx
