When you travel, be fully present in the place of voyage.
Lailah Gifty Akita
When you stop doing what insults your Soul, your Journey accelerates and your Life beings to fill with joy.
Sue Fitzmaurice
It’s not so much the journey that’s important; as is the way that we treat those we encounter and those around us, along the way
Jeremy Aldana
May God brighten your path.
Lailah Gifty Akita
Love, happiness, peace - these are not final destinations. They are in every moment, every breath, everything.
Vironika Tugaleva
Materialism allows for a greater vision!
Stephen Richards
if you are going to try, go all the way.. Otherwise, don’t even start.. If you are going to try, go all the way.. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. Go all the way.. It could mean not eating for three or four days.. It could mean freezing on a park bench.. It could mean jail, derision, mockery, isolation.. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test for endurance, of how much you really want to do it.. And you’ll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine.. if you are going to try, go all the way.. there’s no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods and the nights will flame with fire. Do it, do it , do it.. all the way .. all the way.. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It’s the only good fight there is ….
Charles Bukowski
Be who you are longing to be, practice thinking of yourself as the person of your dreams.
Stephen Richards
When your efforts run in the face of conventional wisdom and accepted mastery, persistence can look like madness. If you succeed in the end, this extreme originality reformulates into a new level of mastery, sometimes even genius; if you fail in the end, you remain a madman in the eyes of others, and maybe even yourself. When you are in the midst of the journey…there’s really no way of knowing which one you are.” (p.129)
Hilary Austen
Life had broken her; just as it had broken him. But when they got together, their pieces became whole. And they continued on their journey, together, mended as one.
Steve Maraboli
Looking back, I now realize that I left home in search of all the things that were right in the very place I left.
Craig D. Lounsbrough
Then we got into a labyrinth, and, when we thought we were at the end, came out again at the beginning, having still to see as much as ever.
Plato
I may be going nowhere, but what a ride.
Shaun Hick
Life is a journey from God to God.
Moosa Rahat
You cannot be aware of yourself, for you are awareness itself. How can a witness witness itself? That is like trying to see your own eyes without a reflection, or cut a knife with the tip of its own blade—it is impossible. The subject can only observe the object; it cannot make an object out of itself. But by the very act of observing, you indirectly know yourself as the observer, as the subject. No witnessing of the witness is needed to prove its existence.
Joseph P. Kauffman
You ought to travel on your own path.
Lailah Gifty Akita
But then it is important for some people to make an exit, to get down and walk the paths they were destined to because if people always made an entrance and never left either for the better or worse, then we would feel suffocated and confused like those people in the bus, the purpose of the journey would lose its essence and the journey altogether would neither be worthwhile nor smooth.
Chirag Tulsiani
Whole life is a search for beauty. But, when the beauty is found inside, the search ends and a beautiful journey begins.
Harshit Walia
Choose your sacred-journey.
Lailah Gifty Akita
If you're going on a journey take a rainbow with you because you never know who you are going to meet.
Anthony T.Hincks
We only suffer when we falsely identify with the objects that arise in our awareness, rather than with the awareness itself—when we identify with our thoughts, with our emotions, our personal history, and the many stories we tell ourselves. When you reconnect to your source—the essence of your being, the pure and impartial witness—you become free from all of the troubles of the material world; free from the world of form. You no longer feel the desire to cling to forms or depend on them for your happiness. Instead, you are free to enjoy form, free to let form be, and free to allow all forms to come and go as they please. All forms are impermanent and changing, but your consciousness, being formless, is eternal, and exists regardless of the forms that it gives life to.
Joseph P. Kauffman
In the hero stories, the call to go on a journey takes the form of a loss, an error, a wound, an unexplainable longing, or a sense of a mission. When any of these happens to us, we are being summoned to make a transition. It will always mean leaving something behind,...The paradox here is that loss is a path to gain.
David Richo
Lord guide us along the best pathways.
Lailah Gifty Akita
Curious how a place unvisited can take such hold on the mind so that the very name sets up a ringing.
John Steinbeck
I have an idea that some men are born out of their due place. Accident has cast them amid certain surroundings, but they have always a nostalgia for a home they know not. They are strangers in their birthplace, and the leafy lanes they have known from childhood or the populous streets in which they have played, remain but a place of passage. They may spend their whole lives aliens among their kindred and remain aloof among the only scenes they have ever known. Perhaps it is this sense of strangeness that sends men far and wide in the search for something permanent, to which they may attach themselves. Perhaps some deep-rooted atavism urges the wanderer back to lands which his ancestors left in the dim beginnings of history.
W Somerset Maugham
People try to use your past against you not realizing you were using it to propel you.
Kierra C.T. Banks
I've learned to stay the course. There are no shortcuts. No detours. They take you further away from your goal.
irene fantopoulos
Your thoughts and feelings together create an ‘energetic blueprint’ that is constantly being emitted out into the world.
Stephen Richards
The journey pathways are best known by the traveler.
Lailah Gifty Akita
If you could do it, I suppose, it would be a good idea to live your life in a straight line - starting, say, in the Dark Wood of Error, and proceeding by logical steps through Hell and Purgatory and into Heaven. Or you could take the King's Highway past the appropriately named dangers, toils, and snares, and finally cross the River of Death and enter the Celestial City. But that is not the way I have done it, so far. I am a pilgrim, but my pilgrimage has been wandering and unmarked. Often what has looked like a straight line to me has been a circling or a doubling back. I have been in the Dark Wood of Error any number of times. I have known something of Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven, but not always in that order. The names of many snares and dangers have been made known to me, but I have seen them only in looking back. Often I have not known where I was going until I was already there. I have had my share of desires and goals, but my life has come to me or I have gone to it mainly by way of mistakes and surprises. Often I have received better than I deserved. Often my fairest hopes have rested on bad mistakes. I am an ignorant pilgrim, crossing a dark valley. And yet for a long time, looking back, I have been unable to shake off the feeling that I have been led - make of that what you will.
Wendell Berry
One BIG thing you overlooked when setting out on living the adventure of being wealthy was that you overlooked your current reality!
Stephen Richards
You must be fully awake in the divine journey.
Lailah Gifty Akita
Every journey starts with the first step and the thousands upon thousands steps before you reach the end. Enjoy every step.
Pamela Cummins
Travelling the road will tell you more about the road than the google will tell you about the road.
Amit Kalantri
You are not limited to this body, to this mind, or to this reality—you are a limitless ocean of Consciousness, imbued with infinite potential. You are existence itself.
Joseph P. Kauffman
I will have a deeper and personal relationship with my life. I will not have a casual fling with my life. I will find peace in that. I want to contribute to the world around me. Casual debauchery is not fulfilling. I want to send good messages and good meanings along the way. The journey is about spreading love and understanding. Not using each other. Not distraction. Tools for presence in life. I want to bond with like-minded people who echo my appreciation and awareness for them.
Hannah Hart
How you climb a mountain is more important than reaching the top.
Yvon Chouinard
God strengthen and brighten your paths.
Lailah Gifty Akita
I did not reach thee,tBut my feet slip nearer every day;tThree Rivers and a Hill to cross,tOne Desert and a Sea—tI shall not count the journey onet When I am telling thee.tTwo deserts—but the year is coldtSo that will help the sand—tOne desert crossed, the second onetWill feel as cool as land.t Sahara is too little pricetTo pay for thy Right hand!tThe sea comes last. Step merry, feet!tSo short have we to gotTo play together we are prone,t But we must labor now,tThe last shall be the lightest loadtThat we have had to draw.tThe Sun goes crooked—that is night—tBefore he makes the bendt We must have passed the middle sea,tAlmost we wish the endtWere further off—too great it seemstSo near the Whole to stand.tWe step like plush, we stand like snow—t The waters murmur now,tThree rivers and the hill are passed,tTwo deserts and the sea!tNow Death usurps my premiumtAnd gets the look at Thee.
Emily Dickinson
Being negative only makes a difficult journey more difficult. You may be given a cactus, but you don't have to sit on it.
Joyce Meyer
My pathways are defined by the Creator.
Lailah Gifty Akita
Children of the light, live in the light.
Lailah Gifty Akita
I'm hungry for knowledge. The whole thing is to learn every day, to get brighter and brighter. That's what this world is about. You look at someone like Gandhi, and he glowed. Martin Luther King glowed. Muhammad Ali glows. I think that's from being bright all the time, and trying to be brighter.
Jay-Z
Old religious dogma attempts to convince you that you are on a journey to God, then makes you pay tolls along that roadway.
Steve Maraboli
We can live such a more abundant life when we simply embrace the journey as much as we desire the destination.
Allen Dominique
Spend sixteen weeks in the jungle and you being to question your own sanity, especially when you are the one goading everyone else ahead.
Tahir Shah
To maximize our lives we think that we should get up and join in the race. Yet, we rarely consider that maybe it’s less about joining a race and more about actually creating one.
Craig D. Lounsbrough
Grace abounds for a greater work.
Lailah Gifty Akita
There isn't a need to sugar coat life anymore, Cant we see we live through enough lies, deciet and painful realities to create more, by stagnating the growth of the ones your suppose to make an Impact on and more importantly yourself. Let life be funny, but never a joke.
Nikki Rowe
Savour on the moment, while still waiting for sacred time.
Lailah Gifty Akita
We know that there are many animals on this continent not found in the Old World. These must have been carried from here to the ark, and then brought back afterwards. Were the peccary, armadillo, ant-eater, sloth, agouti, vampire-bat, marmoset, howling and prehensile-tailed monkey, the raccoon and muskrat carried by the angels from America to Asia? How did they get there? Did the polar bear leave his field of ice and journey toward the tropics? How did he know where the ark was? Did the kangaroo swim or jump from Australia to Asia? Did the giraffe, hippopotamus, antelope and orang-outang journey from Africa in search of the ark? Can absurdities go farther than this?
Robert G. Ingersoll
At the end of the day, only what we do for Christ will last. Appreciate each day, one another, and the vessels God may use to acknowledge our individual and collective skillsets and let’s always remember the importance of planting seeds in our own lives, i.e., investing in ourselves and our spiritual purpose. If we can achieve this, we will be able to reflect on the journey and see the legacy we have built for our loved ones and the blessings we have sewn for God’s glory.
Lorna Jackie Wilson
However, what I have come to understand from my life’s journey is that I am always in the right place at the right time. In fact, there is no other place I could possibly be.
Stephen Richards

I'm always homesick for the journey,” I had once written in ink speckled script, adding almost as an afterthought, “...no matter what it may hold.
S.C. Barrus
