There is a danger there - a very real danger to humanity. Consider, Watson, that the material, the sensual, the worldly would all prolong their worthless lives. The spiritual would not avoid the call to something higher. It would be the survival of the least fit. What sort of cesspool may not our poor world become?
Arthur Conan Doyle
Parents expect only two things from their children, obedience in their childhood and respect in their adulthood.

To vanish with the infinite, I am floating with the waves of change in the ocean of time.
Debasish Mridha
Hermann Hesse

Life is better when happiness is your only purpose.
Debasish Mridha M.D.

J'accuse toute violence en l'education d'une ame tendre, qu'on dresse pour l'honneur, et la liberté.
Michel de Montaigne
The discovery of what is true and the practice of that which is good are the two most important objects of philosophy.

If we try to measure Now, we find it's always gone, has become part of the past.
Aidan Chambers
Keep me away from the wisdom which does not cry, the philosophy which does not laugh and the greatness which does not bow before children.
Kahlil Gibran
Believe not in the reality, but believe in the possibility.
Debasish Mridha
I never could read Foucault. I find philosophy tedious. All of my knowledge comes from reading novels and some history. I read Being and Nothingness and realized that I remembered absolutely nothing when I finished it. I used to go to the library every day and read every day for eight hours. I’d dropped out of high school and had to teach myself. I read Sartre without any background. I just forced myself and I learned nothing.
Michael Gira
We always emerge from the death of a loved one like a phoenix arising from its funeral pyre.
Janvier Chouteu-Chando
Nu pot fi eu insumi decat daca ma inalt pana la furie sau cobor pana la descurajare: la nivelul meu obisnuit, ignor faptul ca exist.

Gustave Courbet

Constance Friday
True wisdom reveals itself by loving everyone.
Debasish Mridha
Anything which you have in profusion is poison
Amit Kalantri
The best friend you will ever find is you. You must love yourself with joy to fill your heart with bliss and happiness.
Debasish Mridha
First know the Self and then talk of social reformation.
Abhijit Naskar
Nevertheless now have I asked thee but only of the fire and wind, and of the day where-through thou hast passed, and of things from which thou canst not be separated, and yet canst thou give me no answer of them.
Compton Gage

Debasish Mridha
I don’t think it’s right that I’m part of the problem. I can’t be part of the solution if I’m part of the problem
Haruki Murakami
You can be kind only when you are in love.
Debasish Mridha
If you fulfill the wishes of your employees, the employees will fulfill your visions.

Life is not a destination to be reached, but it is a journey to be enjoyed.
Debasish Mridha
To advocate irrationality is to advocate that which is destructive to human life.
George H. Smith
Many of the innovations in science and philosophy have come from unbelievers, some of whom died for their 'unbeliefs.' Without unbelief, we might well be living in the Dark Ages or at least in the intellectual equivalent of that time.In past centuries many theists savagely attacked atheists on the ground that someone without a belief in God must be a moral 'monster,' who would permit any action. This argument is rarely heard today, as the number of people who are openly atheists has become so large that its falsity is self-evident. Atheists do have a moral code to guide them. It is usually based upon the Golden Rule, plus a variety of utilitarian reasons, although there are a number of other possible systems. Rather than being immoral, most atheists are extremely moral. There are a large number of people who can and do manage to lead decent upright lives with no use for a belief in God as a guide. Atheists do not care whether others believe as they do. They do ask, however, for the right to believe as they wish ....
Gordon Stein
I don’t know who you are or where you are, but I know your deep driving desires. I am writing to you to make your life a little easier and better.
Debasish Mridha
Spirit is a child, the tune of dancing feet its lullaby.
Shah Asad Rizvi
Where we choose to be, where we choose to be--we have the power to determine that in our lives. We cannot reel time backward or forward, but we can take ourselves to the place that defines our being.
Sena Jeter Naslund
The spread of evil is the symptom of a vacuum. Whenever evil wins, it is only by default: by the moral failure of those who evade the fact that there can be no compromise on basic principles.
Ayn Rand

Imagine you are in a classroom and they hand you a test with many interesting multiple choice questions, until you get to “Can you just explain what exactly you believe how the Universe started?” & here are the options. a) The Big Bang b) It’s always been therec) God! or Godsd) A bowl of cherries e) I don’t know…. If you choose (a) then what or who & why caused it? & the test continues…..If you choose (b) that would be my choice. If you choose (c) then who or what created God or Gods? And where do they come from? And if you think they have always been there, the same thing could be said about the universe. If you choose (d) It doesn’t make sense, it is odd, an anomaly, not supposed to be etc :) if you choose (e) then you are being honest. There’s nothing wrong with not knowing. You can make “assumptions” or “pretending” that you know or a book (bible) “knows” or “tells” you but I just don’t buy that. The beauty of it is that you are here today & you can be thankful & enjoy all the life that you have ahead of you. And the test (life) continues with more wonderful questions and experiences :)
Pablo
Still less, despite appearances, will it have been a collection of three “essays” whose itinerary it would be time, after the fact, to recognize; whose continuity and underlying laws could now be pointed out; indeed, whose overall concept or meaning could at last, with all the insistence required on such occasions, be squarely set forth. I will not feign, according to the code, either premeditation or improvisation. These texts are assembled otherwise; it is not my intention here to present them.
Jacques Derrida
Moderation is based on the idea that things do not fit neatly together. Politics is likely to be a competition between legitimate opposing interests. Philosophy is likely to be a tension between competing half truths. A personality is likely to be a battleground of valuable but incompatible traits.
