I look at the world and I see absurdity all around me. People do strange things constantly, to the point that, for the most part, we manage not to see it.

A person shattered by their loss in faith must come to terms with the underlying fear and tension of his or her austere solitude and knowingly accept that the universe is utterly indifferent to a person’s survival.
